Hello, October! Let’s be friends, shall we?
After my plans for “turning my life around” in September fell through, I am both excited and kind of shocked that October is already here. I really can’t remember where did September and August go. I wish for October to be peaceful and full of laughter and great memories.
Also, after the amount of rain in the past month, I believe I can speak for all of us when I say that sunshine would be much appreciated.
Anyway, I thought I’d write this short and simple post to wish you all an exciting October.
What are you all up to? What are your plans for the near future?
I thought I’d share with you some of my Fall Fashion picks for this year.
Let’s start with basics. 🙂
My Fall 2017 Fashion Picks
After going through my closet I’ve come to realize that I really don’t own any great staples, so I purchased a new coat that is on its way as I write this. I chose the Mango Lapels wool coat in beige (not my go-to colour) and I think this is going to be a great simple yet elegant piece for winter. HINT: After trying the coat in store and getting all excited, I returned home and bought it online. Simply by signing up for their newsletter I saved 10% and instead of paying 140€ it ended up costing me 125€!
The second thing I got was a simple, slouchy, grey jumper. I found the Oviesse pullover for 20€. I got it because it was fairly similar to the one I’ve been eying on Asos. The Asos one is 35€, so I thought this one was close enough. I thought it would be great as a transitional piece. And I really love everything grey.
I am also looking for some good flat shoes but I still haven’t decided on any. A nice pair of shoes that look casual but still smart and cool enough to carry you through the day into the evening would be amazing. I saw these Alma en Pena boots on Instagram and fell in love but they are around 160€ and I’m not sure I will get enough wear out of them. Underneath you can see some other shoes I would also love to acquire in the future. Something that looks put together and nice since I am always in sneakers and I’m slowly getting over that look.
What are your top fashion trends for autumn?
I think I will mostly skip trends and rather buy some classic pieces that I will be able to use for a few years to come.
Have a lovely and cosy Sunday!
Talk to you, soon!
